| Preparation | Matcha should be mixed with 80C water instead of the normally 100C boiling water we usually use for teas such as orange peako. If your kettle doesn’t have a setting for green tea don’t worry about it, embrace Wabisabi and accept the imperfection and enjoy the tea anyways with 100C boiled water! For a thinner tea, only use 1g of the powder (half teaspoon) and mix with 89–118 ml of hot 80c water. For a more concentrated version, 4g (2 teaspoons) of powder with 30 ml of hot 80c water. |
